Sister to Porthminster Beach Cafe, this whitewashed, Aussie-style seaside cafe occupies a fabulous spot in a secluded beach overlooking St Ives Bay.  The simple, uncluttered decor is mirrored in the menu which majors on local seafood:  Mackerel Fillets with new potatoes and red onion jam (£8.95) or whole local bream en papillote with olive oil, lemon, thyme and white wine (£13.95).  Full English breakfasts (£5.95) and light lunches such as scrambled egg and smoked salmon (£4.95) are also served.  Wines from £10.95.  Open all year round.
